Es besteht darin, alle Transaktionen gleichzeitig auf zwei Konten aufzuzeichnen. Theoretische \u00dcberlegungen waren relativ begrenzt und konzentrierten sich haupts\u00e4chlich auf buchhalterische Erfassungsmechanismen oder auf Konzepte und Definitionen. <\/p> <p> Das Aufkommen der Industriegesellschaft und die Entwicklung der Aktiengesellschaften Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts f\u00fchrten zu Ver\u00e4nderungen der Rechnungslegungsinstrumente. Die \u00dcberlegungen zur Rechnungslegung konzentrierten sich dann sowohl auf die Verbesserung der Buchf\u00fchrungstechniken als auch auf die Probleme der Kostenberechnung. Insbesondere die betriebliche Rechnungslegung verdankt viel der Pionierarbeit von Frederick W. Taylor (1902) und Henri Fayol (1916). <\/p> <p> Was die Entwicklung des Rechnungswesens im 20. Jahrhundert kennzeichnet, ist das Ph\u00e4nomen der Harmonisierung der Praktiken (bekannt als \u201eStandardisierung\u201c).
